- Host our Annual LP Meeting 🏛️
- Gather founders in the Redwoods for Camp BTV 🌲
- Host a happy hour and dinner at M2020 🎰
ICYMI: We announced BTV III! → Read more here.

🤙 Community
Not only did we get to spend time with founders in NYC this summer AND soak up the rain? (and strategy) with our team in Mexico, but we also teamed up with friends at SVB and Monk to bring even more fintech minds together under one roof.
Here’s the highlight reel:
In July, we kicked things off with a BTV Founder Dinner in New York. A lively night of stories, laughs, and a few heated debates over the future of fintech (in true BTV fashion).
Then, in September, we partnered with our portfolio company Monk and SVB to host the Strategic Finance Network Dinner, bringing together top finance leaders and operators for an evening of sharp insights, great food, strong cocktails, and even stronger connections.
Finally, we kicked off October by heading south for our offsite in Puerto Escondido. A week of reflection, surf sessions that got canceled by torrential rain (but don’t worry there was plenty of Monopoly Deal going on), and deep dives into what’s next for BTV. There may have been a few mezcal-fueled brainstorms along the way. 🧐

The rest of October was jam packed but still is our favorite month of the year. Over one unforgettable week we pulled off:
- Our Annual LP Meeting
- AGM after party
- Unit x BTV Coffee + Croissants
- Camp BTV
- Money 20/20 Kickoff Happy Hour with Notable, GIC, and Blank
- Money 20/20 Dinner with SVB

Our friends at This Week in Fintech wrote a great piece on the opportunity for startups in agentic payments. Check it out!
We also spent time reading and digging into Ribbit's token letter.
💪 Talent
As you’ve read, this time of year is an especially busy one for the team at BTV. Our AGM is also a valuable moment for reflection. We shared some of the core pillars of our Talent Platform with our LPs: Hiring Enablement, Network Activation, Advisory & Systems, and Internal Platform Building.
Looking back over the past three years, the scope of our work has been remarkable: more than 500 candidates added to our talent network, over 800 introductions made into BTV companies, and many high-impact hires, advisors, contractors, and fractional leaders who have helped our portfolio grow.
There are incredible opportunities across our portfolio, spanning Engineering, GTM, Product, and Design functions. If you’re exploring what’s next in your career or know someone who is, we’d love to connect.
Made it this far? We appreciate you. Feel free to hit reply and tell us what you want from this newsletter so we can be better tomorrow (and next quarter).
Until next time,
Team BTV
